Jeff MacKay (played Larry Carter): A 30 year + veteran of screen and television, Jeff has appeared in many memorable roles. He played the popular character, Lt. “Mac” MacReynolds on “Magnum P.I.,” Lt. Donald French on “Baa Baa Blacksheep,” Big Bud Roberts on “Jag,” and many other shows, including “Diagnosis Murder,” “Airwolf,” the original “Battlestar Galactica,” and more.

Jeremy King (played Bobby Carter): Originally from Chicago, Jeremy fell in love with acting at a young age. He has extensive acting experience, including roles in “100 Years,” “Waste of Space,” “Pawn’d,” “Contact From Beyond,” and many more.


Jen Halbert (played Janet Carter): Jen was working as a graphic artist at the Southwest Orlando Bulletin. While there, she met Amy Allen, owner of L.A. Acting Workshop, and began designing the company’s ads as a trade for acting classes. That is when she fell in love with the art of acting. While studying at L.A. Acting Workshop, she worked with acting coaches Lyle Moon and John DiDonna. She also has trained with Bob Luke of Bob Luke Studios in NY & LA and Ken Grant of KVG Acting. Halbert currently studies with Yvonne Suhor of Art’s Sake Acting Studio.

After stepping foot onto her first film set, Never Back Down, Jen knew she was where she belonged. Since then she has appeared in several films, including Ace Ventura 3, Action News 5, Beethoven: The Reel Story, Bait Shop, This Man’s Life and HBO’s Recount. Her experience also includes supporting roles in Grieve and Monsieur Tall & Stella. She also has experience in television, print, commercials, infomercials, corporate-training videos and on the Web.

Jen, who holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Central Florida, recently completed production in supporting roles on two films: Stilettos This Ain’t Vegas and The Missing, and in her first leading role, in the feature film, December.

Tony Armer (played Don Carter): Tony Armer attended the University of Toledo, Ohio, and Eckerd College, Florida, achieving a BA in Business Management from Eckerd in 2002. He has worked in the TV/film industry for over 12 years in various capacities, including acting, producing, directing and other roles. His broad range of experience includes work on Hollywood feature films, independent features, television pilots and music videos. He is the Co-founder and Co-Director of the Sunscreen Film Festival held annually in St. Petersburg, FL. Founded in 2005, the Sunscreen Film Festival is rapidly growing into one of the top new film fests in the country. The fest regularly attracts thousands of visitors, several hundred filmmakers and top entertainment industry talent to the St. Petersburg/Clearwater area. He currently lives in Clearwater, Florida.



Keri Lurtz (played Beth Carter) Keri Lurtz was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ga. State University. Keri is also a graduate of the Palm Beach Film School. Her first film, Unconditional, was purchased by the Mini Movie Channel to screen internationally. She has appeared in over 25 films including a leading role in Wild Sunflowers, a feature production from Straightaway Movies that was cast in LA and filmed in Miami. In 2008, Keri’s feature films included a supporting role in December from Four Star Productions and the lead role in Lost Angels, currently in post-production. In the Spring of 2009, production will begin of Keri’s next lead role in the feature film, Ripple. Keri works in the industry as an actor and independent filmmaker.

Millie Anne Shipe (played Reagan): Formerly a VA native, Millie relocated to Orlando to pursue acting professionally after graduating from James Madison University with a degree in Theatre. During her time at school she had the pleasure of studying in London at the Globe Theatre and represented JMU at the Kennedy Center American Theatre Conference – where she placed as Semi-finalist. Since then she has had the joy of performing in numerous film and theatre projects both in Florida and out of state. Currently, she proudly plays a principal role in an equity stage show at Disney World.
